Hey Life Changers!

Make a change in your health and fitness with a 16 week scholarship to Finally Fit!

Are you a single parent who has not prioritized your own health and fitness for the sake of providing for your family’s needs? Do you know anyone that has?

In a moment I’ll share the details of our scholarship with you but first I’d like to tell you why Finally Fit is inspired, and honored, to offer this to our Albuquerque community.

I was raised by the most wonderful, caring, and loving mom in the world; Leslie Jean.  She practically raised 5 kids on her own and throughout her life she always sacrificed her own well-being to support the needs of our family. Whether it was working extra hours and getting less sleep so that she could just pay the bills or giving up any of her personal time to take us to our extracurricular activities, she was always so selfless because she loved us so much. As I became an adult, however, I witnessed the toll a life’s worth of decisions had taken on my Mom’s health. She had become overweight and a diabetic and eventually had of major heart attack in 2006. After her heart attack, I always told her that she had a second birthday. That day she was gifted more time on this earth. That day she recognized that she needed to make a change. In March of 2014, however, she suffered a severe stroke and passed away at the age of 73. Her love and devotion to our family inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others achieve their health and fitness goals. I established Finally Fit in 2007 to inspire and give people the tools they need to make lifestyle changes, not only for themselves, but also their family.

In memory of my mom, Finally Fit is proud to announce the Leslie Jean Scholarship and is now accepting applications! The criteria to qualify for the scholarship are simple. You only need to be a single parent who otherwise couldn’t afford personal training, have 30 (or more) pounds to lose, and are ready to commit to a healthier life style.

Finally Fit will award the scholarship to one person and they will receive customized personal training services for 16 weeks to help them achieve their weight loss and fitness goals. Our approach to personal training and nutrition coaching programs change the way fitness is done and promise to help you move better, feel better, look better and perform better.

Please email your application request to rebecca@finallyfitabq.com. The deadline to turn in applications is March 22, 2015. We will review all applicants and announce the award March 28th, 2015 on our Facebook page.

See you soon!
